About
For 8 years, BLaw Training has been dedicated to developing basketball players and creating opportunities for the next generation. Founded by former professional basketball player and elite coach Benjamin “Benji” Lawmann, our journey began with a simple belief: talented players deserve access to the right coaching, guidance and opportunities to reach their potential.
Since 2018, we have worked with players at every stage of their development, from complete beginners to high-level athletes pursuing professional opportunities. One of the players we are particularly proud to have supported is Myles Barry, who began his development with Benji before earning an opportunity to join the Paris Basketball Academy at just 16 years old and continuing his journey within the professional basketball pathway.
Our work has grown far beyond individual training. We have delivered camps, clinics, showcases, player development programmes and community initiatives, while building strong relationships with schools, clubs, organisations and families across London. Our work has also received recognition from the NBA, and our commitment to player development was recognised through the Prestige Awards London & South East England 2025/26.
Today, BLaw Training continues to grow with the same purpose we started with — developing players, creating opportunities and helping young people understand what is possible through basketball. Whether a player is picking up a basketball for the first time or aiming for the highest levels of the game, we bring nearly a decade of experience, professional knowledge and genuine investment in every player’s journey.

Mission
Our Mission
Our mission is to develop people through basketball. We are committed to providing high-quality coaching, mentorship and meaningful opportunities that help players develop their skills, confidence, discipline and understanding of the game. We want every player who comes through BLaw Training to leave not only as a better basketball player, but as a more confident, resilient and ambitious individual.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a recognised basketball development pathway that creates genuine opportunities for young people at every stage of their journey. We want to help bridge the gap between grassroots basketball and the highest levels of the game, giving talented and committed players access to the coaching, exposure, education and support they need to progress. Ultimately, we want to leave a lasting impact on basketball in our communities and help produce the next generation of players, coaches and leaders.
